Services Provided

Holiday Club for primary age children available during all school holidays.

Full or part-time childcare.

Age of child range is 3 months to 12 years.

Separate Sleep Room for younger children.

Drop off and/or collect children from nursery or primary school to/from Home From Home Childcare.

Freshly prepared and home cooked meals. (Sample menus available for download on Weekly Menu page.)

We also cater for individuals who may suffer allergic reactions to some ingredients or other dietary requirements.

Services available from 07.30 – 18.00 on Monday to Friday (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Jan 1st and 2nd).

Consider other special arrangements on request.

Additional Provisions

Newsletters for parents/carers.

Daily update given at the end of each day.

Individual bedding for each child stored in named bag.

Personal named bags provided for additional clothing and belongings.

Anti-bacterial soap and paper towels in each toilet cubicle.

Bactericidal cleaning materials used on all surfaces, toys, hard floors etc.

Disposable gloves and aprons used for nappy changing.

Baby utensils are sterilised.

Party & gift for each child on their birthday (if child attends on their birthday).

Christmas party & gift for each child.

Curriculum linked resources.

Personal toothbrush for each child.

Simple dance tuition available at Home From Home Childcare from a fully qualified dance teacher at no additional cost. Transport also available to dance classes held in Pumpherston Institute Hall (additional cost involved).

Sun block and creams used when outside on sunny days.

Individual Development Plans for each child kept in written profile.

Behaviour plans can be implemented together with parent consultation if required.

Photographs taken on a regular basis to record child's progression and development.

Events

Children may participate in events such as Rabbie Burns Day, Shrove Tuesday (pancake day), Chinese New Year, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, Hallowe'en, Guy Fawkes, Christmas and many more festivals.
